망원동에서 오래 거주한 사람들의 이야기를 직접 인터뷰한 음성 자료를 바탕으로 재구성한 이 다큐멘터리는 과거 큰 수해로 망가진 도시를 직접 정리하고 가꾸어 살아왔지만 결국 ‘외부인’에 의해서 타지로 밀려나는 상황과 이로 인해 와해되는 마을 공동체, 기존의 거주민 중에서도 가장 먼저 쫓겨나는 계층 그리고 이러한 현상의 촉매 역할을 하는 SNS에 대한 경험담 등을 통해 젠트리피케이션을 다룬다. 특히, 공동체가 형성되고 안정적으로 자리 잡는 과정에서 구성원끼리 공유하는 경험에 집중하여 비장소성/비시간성이 두드러지는 온라인(SNS) 세계가 물리적 세계를 어떻게 변화시키는가에 대한 질문을 던진다.

This documentary was created by editing and recombining audio recordings made during interviews with residents who have lived in Mangwon for decades. Despite having once rebuilt the neighborhood after a devastating flood, many residents were eventually pushed out by the influx of new residents. This documentary focuses on the collapse of their sense of community, the unavoidable departure of certain residents, and the role of social networks and gentrification in this process.
In particular, this documentary focuses on the shared experiences of residents in the process of forming and sustaining a sense of community, while also questioning how the placeless and timeless spaces created by social networks effect and transform the physical environment.
